Connect Inbound Manager Pro with your current WordPress

To connect your current WordPress go to Advanced Settings / My WordPress Integration and follow the steps below:

You’ll find a configuration screen where you can incorporate your WordPress into the Automation Manager automation tool and access your own WordPress management from a tab within Inbound Manager Pro.

Steps to follow:

1. Enter the full address to your own WordPress admin panel (including https://).
For it to work properly, your website must have the “https” SSL security certificate activated. If you don’t have a security certificate, you’ll need to contact your domain provider to sign up for one.

2. Activate the side menu to be able to access your own WordPress using any of the 2 options listed.
Note: For your changes to be visible, you’ll need to reload the page.

  • Add the My WordPress menu and hide the Content Manager side section.If you choose this option, in your Inboundmanagerpro side menu you will see this aspect.
  • Add the My WordPress menu and display the Content Manager side section.If you choose this option, in your Inboundmanagerpro side menu you will see this aspect.

3. To access your own WordPress from the “My WordPress” menu you will need to install the My WordPress Integration extension in your own browser. This feature is only supported by the Google Chrome browser

Download and add the extension in your own Google Chrome browser. This extension will allow you to display your WordPress within the Inbound Manager Pro platform

4. If you have followed all the steps, clicking on the side menu “My WordPress” will bring up a window with the login screen to your own wordpress.

You can now access your WordPress from your Inbound Manager Pro installation, but in order to see all the actions of your visits and be able to start automating, you’ll need to install the Inbound Manager Conection plugin on your own WordPress.

5. Download and install the Inbound Manager Connection plugin on your own WordPress.From the settings screen download the plugin to your computer, and then install it on your own WordPress.

After installing the plugin, a new login will appear within your WordPress’ advanced settings menu. To set it up you will need to log back in from your Inbound Manager Pro installation in the Automation Manager module and click on the top right wheel to bring up the settings menu. From this menu go to API Credentials.

6. Within the Api Credentials menu click on the New button

7. Enter the necessary credentials to be able to connect Automation Manager with your wordpress

  • Authorization Protocol: OAuth2
  • Write the name you want to give to the authorization, this name is so that you can differentiate it from the others.
  • Finally, enter the url of your personal
    wordpress (it must be https:)
  • Click Save and close

8. Now your new random Api key that you just created will appear in the list. Copy the public key and the generated secret key to include them in the plugin you have installed in your own wordpress.

9. From the settings menu in your own wordpress, you’ll find the Inbound Manager Connection plugin

  • Go to the Authenticate tab and enter the public and private Api key you want.
  • You’ll also need to enter the URL of your Automation Manager installation.
  • The default url is:
    https://tuusuario.inboundmanagerpro.com/automationmanager
    (Change “youruser” to the name of your installation in Inbound Manager Pro)
  • Click on Save and authenticate.

10. If everything is correct, it will prompt you to log in to the Automation Manager module to finish authenticating.

Log in to Automation Manager with the username and password that we sent you by email when you installed Inbound Manager Pro.
